We recently completed painting works externally and internally. As the committee representative, I was in contact with Juan (assigned painter from Dukes) approximately Three times a day. The scope of works included recoating the 25-year-old, originally powdercoated and partially rusted metal perforated double garage doors (x4) whilst also trialing the application of a rejuvenating product to our powdercoated balcony balustrades. Both were completed to a high level which was definitely as a result of the tedious and meticulous preparation which was carried out. Appraised repair contingency on the quote was very accurate. There was additional unforeseen cost due to the Armawall texture failure in some areas; however, this was only visible once pressure washing and scrapping back of surfaces was identified therefore the committee approved further repairs which were completed to a high level. Generally speaking, the result internally and externally was beyond excellent, as was dealing with Juan who was always accommodating to feedback and clarifying any questions I had. All his works and repairs were to high standards and he never cut corners. This was ultimately reflected in the defects which were minimal in rectification. All defects found by the owners were dealt with within half a day inclusive of sealing around the perimeters of Two foyer entries which were additions to the scope and not defects. The committee is very appreciative of his efforts and high standards which has resulted in an excellent job and we know will last many years to come. Other owners were also highly complementary of Juan with his efforts/results which were passed on to me. He certainly is a highly committed and hard-working individual with exceptional high standards which is reflected in his work. It was also a pleasure to have Shane part of the works as my dealing with him were always great and carried out all requests with no issues and was very supportive. I was very satisfied with the constant open communication between us which was welcomed. Overall, a big thanks to Dukes for delivering a great result for all the owners and I know there are multiple people who will pass on positive reference of Dukes Painting to all their friends and part of their discussion points to others. I am not surprised that one of the comments is about the driver. How incredibly inconsiderate are DUKES!? Today they parked across 3 spots in front of a daycare. Making it significantly hard for all the parents to drop off their kids. On top of that when kindly asking them to move we were face with a whole tone of attitude and that's why I am writing this review. It's concerning if this is your level of entitlement with you behavior when it comes to parking. It's really gets you thinking what you attitude is when it comes to your work. Well done guys! Great brand rep!
